I am a scientist and innovator with 10+ years of experience in drug discovery, omics-driven target identification, and translational research across immunology, microbiology, biochemistry, and ophthalmology. My work has led to the development of small molecule inhibitors, biologics, and RNA-based therapeutics. With expertise in biomarker discovery, preclinical models, and cutting-edge technologies like spatial transcriptomics and proteomics, I am dedicated to driving therapeutic innovation from discovery to clinical application.

My work has centered on mechanism-of-action studies, preclinical validation, and the use of cutting-edge methodologies like spatial transcriptomics, proteomics, and single-cell RNA sequencing. Through these publications, I’ve provided critical insights into disease biology, uncovering novel therapeutic targets, biomarkers, and metabolic pathways. I have focused on advancing the understanding of complex diseases such as inflammatory disorders, infections, cancer, autoimmunity, and ocular diseases, with a particular emphasis on preclinical models and therapeutic development. I am passionate about pushing the boundaries of therapeutic and diagnostic advancements to make a meaningful impact in both academic research and the biotech industry.
I am passionate about educating the next generation of scientists. Throught my career, I mentored and trained students and junior scientists, fostering their growth in drug discovery, and translational research. My trainees develop scientific curiosity, analytical thinking, expertise in translational biochemistry, immunology, microbiology, and biotechnology, contributing to projects in basic research, biomarker discovery, mechanism-of-action studies, and therapeutic development. Many of my former trainees have gone on to lead a rewarding career in biotech and academia, securing competitive fellowships, and driving innovation in biomedical sciences, reflecting a strong commitment to mentorship and career development.
