This unit provides detailed protocols for measuring mannan-binding lectin (MBL) levels and MBL pathway activity in human plasma or serum, offering valuable tools for biomarker discovery and clinical research. By leveraging a modified ELISA approach, these assays utilize Europium (Eu³⁺)-labeled detection reagents instead of traditional enzyme-based methods, enhancing sensitivity and precision.
